As mentioned above, there are options available on multiple airlines. For example, you can fly from Austin to Maui on American for $316. This price applies to the airline’s basic economy fare, which includes one free carry-on bag.

If you’re coming from San Francisco, United offers nonstop routes starting at $199. Again, this price is for the airline’s basic economy ticket. Unlike the other airlines in this deal, a basic United ticket does not include a carry-on bag. You’ll pay $35 each way to check a bag, which will bring your total to $269.

You can fly from Denver to Honolulu in March for just $314 round-trip with a carry-on included on Delta. According to Google Flights, this fare is more than $500 cheaper than usual.

Bottom line

These flights to Hawaii are much cheaper than normal, and there is availability from many major cities on a multitude of airlines. Play around with the dates to see which airline has the best flights from your home city. Keep in mind that these fares are for basic economy, and if you fly United, a carry-on bag will cost extra.
